Cardinals Game Cancelled Due to Rain

Teams Will Not Meet Again in the 2011 Season
August 31, 2011
JUPITER, Fla. - The Palm Beach Cardinals' (35-29, 64-69) game Wednesday night against the Bradenton Marauders (40-23, 70-63) has been cancelled due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled.

Bradenton clinched the FSL South division second-half season with a 6-3 win Tuesday night and the teams do not meet again before the regular season wraps up Sept. 4. Bradenton finishes the season-series with a 10-7 edge and holds the all-time lead at 19-16.

Tickets for tonight's game can be exchanged for any remaining Florida State League game at Roger Dean Stadium, based on availability. Exchanges can be made at the stadium box office.

If the rotation holds steady, left-hander Kevin Siegrist (0-3, 3.66 ERA) will open the two-game series against righty Zack Wheeler (2-2, 2.16 ERA) and the St. Lucie Mets tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium.
