Cardinals announce 2019 Opening Day Roster

The Springfield Cardinals will open their 15th season on the road this Thursday night, April 4, when they visit the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at 7:10 pm. Today, the Cardinals announced their 25-man Opening Day roster that includes six MLB.com Top 30 St. Louis Cardinals prospects and 13 players with previous Double-A Springfield experience. The Cardinals home opener at Hammons Field is April 11 at 7:10 pm vs. the Naturals.

MLB.com Top 30 prospects on Springfield's Opening Day Roster include: INF Elehuris Montero (#4), OF Dylan Carlson (#7), RHP Connor Jones (#17), OF Conner Capel (#18), LHP Evan Kruczynski (#28) and RHP Seth Elledge (#29).
