FRISCO, TX - The Frisco RoughRiders (18-11) came out swinging with six runs on 10 hits in the first two innings en route to the 10-1 win against the Springfield Cardinals (9-20) at Dr Pepper Ballpark on Saturday night.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED:
-The RoughRiders struck for four runs in the bottom of the first with an RBI double from rehabbing Texas Rangers 1B Ronald Guzmán, and RBI single from RF Preston Beck and a two-run base hit from LF Franklin Rollin.

-The 'Riders added two more in the second, before the Cardinals got on the board in the top of the third when 1B Chris Chinea brought home CF Dylan Carlson with an RBI single.

-Guzman struck again with a solo home run in the fourth, followed later by three final Frisco runs in the seventh to account for the eventual final of 10-1.

NOTABLES:
-1B Chris Chinea's RBI single extended his hitting streak to eight games. During his streak, he is batting .313 (10x32) with two homers and seven RBIs.

-OF Conner Capel went 2x4 with a pair of singles.

-SS Kramer Robertson's season-long 12-game on-base streak came to an end, although he did lay down a sacrifice bunt.
