NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ar. -- The Arkansas Travelers (31-15) swung in front with two runs in the seventh to claim the 3-1 win against the Springfield Cardinals (18-30) at Dickey-Stephens Park on Friday night.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED:
-The Cardinals dealt the first blow with an RBI groundout from LF Conner Capel in the top of the second for the 1-0 lead.

-Arkansas tied it with an unearned run in the bottom of the fourth that scored on an RBI sac fly from 3B Logan Taylor.

-The tie remained until the bottom of the seventh, when an RBI single by C Joe DeCarlo and a run-scoring error bumped the Travs ahead, 3-1, the eventual final score.

NOTABLES:
-LF Conner Capel has driven in both RBIs for the Cardinals in the series, increasing his season total to 25 RBIs, second-most on the club.

-LHP Austin Warner tossed 6.1 innings with only one earned run (three runs total) on six hits and one walk, striking out eight.

-DH Johan Mieses went 2x4 with a pair of doubles.

-CF Dylan Carlson went 2x4 with a pair of singles, increasing his season average to .287 with 50 hits through his first 45 games.
