Hao-Yu Lee drove in a career-high five runs and hit two home runs as the SeaWolves (19-11) swept Richmond (12-21) with a 7-0 win.

Lee started the scoring in the third when he scored Gage Workman on an RBI single against Matt Frisbee.

Lael Lockhart started for Erie and threw five shutout innings. He allowed a first-inning single to Victor Bericoto and no other hits. He walked two and struck out two.

In the fifth, Lee went to the opposite field with a solo home run against reliever Nick Swiney. It was Lee’s first UPMC Park homer and his first homer since April 6.

Jose Cruz entered for Richmond in the sixth and struggled. Erie loaded the bases with one out on a single, walk, and hit batter. Workman made it 3-0 on a line-drive sacrifice fly. Wil Jensen replaced Cruz and surrendered a run-scoring single to Trei Cruz to make it 4-0. Lee followed with his second homer, a three-run shot, to make it 7-0.

Joel Peguero, PJ Poulin, and Tim Naughton combined to allow just one hit in four scoreless innings of relief.

Lockhart (2-2) evened his record in the win. Frisbee (0-5) took the loss.

Erie carries a seven-game winning streak into a series in Harrisburg. Carlos Peña faces Lucas Knowles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
