The 66ers mascot, Bernie, is one of the most beloved characters in the Inland Empire.
During the 1999 season, Bernie - a little known mascot from Utah - was called upon to join the Bug (former San Bernardino mascot) and was an instant hit with the fans. He proved to be lucky as well, as the San Bernardino Stampede won the California League Championship in '99. Bernie became the permanent mascot at the start of the 2000 season when the Bug retired to his hometown of Cocoon, CA.
Today Bernie enhances the fan experience with his trademark "WOOO" and belly bobbling dancing. He received the honor of Craziest Mascot in the Minor Leagues in 2011 and was featured on BleacherReport.com.
You can find Bernie at all 70 66ers home games each year and at multiple community events throughout the year.
Due to the hundreds of requests for Bernie at local events and parties, the 66ers cannot guarantee that he will be available for your event. The 66ers will contact you after your form is returned if your request is granted.
