AquaSox Release Promotional Schedule
Baseball season is officially right around the corner, and the Everett AquaSox are excited for the upcoming 2016 campaign. Building on an MVP-caliber 2015 season, the AquaSox are gearing up for another great year at the ballpark. This will also be a historic year for the Mariners organization, and the AquaSox are excited to be able to join in the celebration.
The 2016 promotional calendar includes fireworks nights, giveaway items, theme nights, jersey auctions, days of the week promotions, and more!
Giveaway Days
Baseball season is almost here, and we are excited to announce that the 2016 AquaSox schedule features 10+ giveaways throughout the summer! A few of these fan-favorites are highlighted below, and more will be announced as the season gets closer.
Opening Week presented by Tulalip Resort Casino - Magnet Schedules, AquaSox Gnomes, Ken Griffey Jr. Plaques and MORE!
The first week of the season is a can't miss for giveaway fans. We will give out 1,000 magnet schedules on June 23, and 500 AquaSox Gnomes on June 24 courtesy of Tulalip Resort Casino. 1,000 Ken Griffey Jr. 1st professional home run plaques will be given away on June 25 courtesy of NECA - IBEW.
July 8 - Webbly Bobblehead presented by Tulalip Resort Casino
Everyone's favorite frog will be transformed into a bobblehead for the first time in more than a decade! Only 1,000 will be given away, so don't miss your chance to take one home.
August 6 - AquaSox Baseball Cards
It's a time-honored tradition to get a team set autographed by your favorite players. This year we are making it easier to complete that set by releasing cards earlier in the season.
August 7 - Team Posters presented by Britt Sport Cards
Fans who took home a team poster in 2015 own a piece of AquaSox and Mariners history. That photo featured NWL MVP Drew Jackson, 1st round draft pick Alex Jackson, multiple 2015 All-Stars and 2016 Mariners top prospects. Britt Sport Cards will also be giving away 1,000 team photos on September 4th. Take home the next Mariners and AquaSox breakout stars again this year!
August 12 - Ken Griffey Jr. Bobblehead presented by Sound Transit
Long before Ken Griffey Jr. was elected to the Hall of Fame, he began his pro baseball career in 1987 with the Bellingham Mariners. The AquaSox will honor his time in the Northwest League by giving away bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans through the gates!
August 26 - Flat Screen Friday presented by Fred Meyer
You asked for this night to return in 2016 and we listened. The AquaSox will give away 9 flat screen TVs to 9 lucky fans again! Every fan through the gate will have a chance to take one home.
Theme Nights
June 26 - The first of 3 Hawaiian Shirt Nights presented by Kama-aina Grindz gets our theme season started in June with a warm Hawaiian summer welcome. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt to the park and you instantly qualify for the "Best Dressed Guest Contest" and a chance to win great prizes. The Hawaiian theme returns on July 28 & Sept 4.
July 9 - Pink in the Park Night returns to Everett Memorial Stadium in 2016. AquaSox players will be wearing pink hats that will be auctioned off during the game. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Providence Regional Medical Center's Comprehensive Breast Center. Stick around after the game for a fireworks spectacular!
August 5 - STAR WARS Night was a HUGE hit last year with fans of all ages. You asked us to bring it back in 2016, and we were happy to make that happen. Players will be wearing brand new Star Wars jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. Proceeds will benefit a local non-profit. Point your gaze toward the STARS for fireworks after the game.
August 13 - Frogstock presented by K&H Integrated Print Solutions is entering its 19th season for the AquaSox! Tie dyes, and good times continue to make Frogstock an Everett community favorite. Fans who love the mind-bending jerseys will be happy know that they will be auctioned off this year! Finish the night off with some mood enhancing fireworks!
August 27- We are excited to announce our inaugural Princess & Pirate Night featuring royalty from the Marysville Strawberry Festival and local pirates full of tricks and shenanigans. Packages that include tickets to the game as well as a tiara for little princesses and eye patches for little pirates will be available for purchase. After the game, we will have Post-game Fireworks to cap off a night of fun!

Opening Week
The 2016 AquaSox season promises to be another fantastic one at Everett Memorial Stadium! Your Everett AquaSox are excited to reveal the details for Opening Day and Opening Weekend. The weekend will include giveaways, fireworks, an appearance by an amazing person, and much more!
The Opening Day fun kicks off on Thursday, June 23rd. First Pitch is at 7:05 PM, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a 2016 AquaSox magnet schedule. It is also a Tasty Thursday with hot dogs, popcorn, sodas, and beer for only $2 each!
The fun continues on Friday, June 24th, with an appearance by Daniel Smith - the Amazing Rubber Boy! Daniel holds the Guinness World Record for the "Most Flexible Man". The Rubber Boy is amazing, entertaining, and funny! He has appeared in ballparks and arenas from coast to coast. Friday night will also include our AquaSox Gnome giveaway presented by Tulalip Resort Casino. This fun and unique giveaway will be for the first 500 fans ages 18 and up. If the Rubber Boy and a giveaway are not enough, we finish the night with the first of our postgame Fireworks Shows of the 2016 season. The fireworks shows are presented from center field so you are up close and personal - it's literally an "in-your-face" fireworks spectacular.
After all the fun on Friday, the AquaSox will follow that up with a giveaway honoring Ken Griffey Jr. on June 25th. That Saturday will be our first salute to the 2016 Hall of Fame inductee. Griffey had his first professional hit right here at Everett Memorial Stadium - a homerun over the left field fence. There is a plaque behind the fence that commemorates this historic feat, and the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a replica of this plaque presented by NECA/IBEW.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, June 26th with a 4:05 PM first pitch. This will be the first Hawaiian Night presented by Kam'aina Grindz. Wear your lucky Hawaiian shirt to win a great prize! The first 500 fans through the gates will also receive an AquaSox T-shirt courtesy of Caliber Home Loans.
