Furthur Rocks the House at McCoy

July 5, 2012
Anyone looking for evidence of Furthur's continuing evolution as a full-fledged band needed only attend the July 5 concert at McCoy Stadium. Furthur, led by Grateful Dead alumni Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, rocked the house at McCoy Stadium by opening their setlist with the hit "Dancing in the Streets" followed by Shakedown, Jack Straw, Let It Ride, Black Throated Wind, Reuben & Cherise, and Last Time Casey Jones.

The show generously tailored to the Dead faithful, who follow the band still and thrive on the spontaneity of each set.

Over 9,000 fans jammed into McCoy Stadium to see Furthur kick off their first show of their summer tour. Furthur continues their tour with their next stop at Constellation Brands - Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, New York.
