Come Meet Olympic Hero, Elizabeth Beisel at McCoy

The PawSox are pleased to announce that Olympic hero Elizabeth Beisel will be at McCoy Stadium this Wednesday when the PawSox host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in a doubleheader at 5:35 pm. Beisel, a Saunderstown, RI native, came home with a silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley and a bronze medal in the 200-meter backstroke. Elizabeth will throw out the ceremonial 1st ball on Wednesday, August 15 and will be signing autographs in the Cox Fan Center at McCoy during Game 1 of the doubleheader.
