(Reading, Pa.)---Due to the overwhelming popularity of last season's VIP Infield Party at the Baseballtown All-Star Classic Home Run Derby, the Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, will once again be hosting a party featuring exclusive on-field access for attendees on Opening Night

On Friday, April 12, the VIP On-Field Warning Track Cocktail Party will allow partygoers to watch batting practice on the field from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. and mingle with the 2013 Fightin Phils players, all while enjoying a unique night at the ballpark. The cocktail party includes on-field food stations provided by Adelphia Seafood, Berks Packing, Pepsi, and All Star Distributing

"Last season, our fans had a blast at the VIP Infield Party during All-Star Classic festivities," said Fightin Phils General Manager Scott Hunsicker. "With the biggest Opening Day on the horizon, why not offer our fans the opportunity to celebrate in style?"

VIP Tickets for the evening include access to both the on-field party and the Fairgrounds Square Mall '67 Club Picnic Area and cost $50 for adults and $35 for children. For every eight tickets purchased in the area, parties will be given a reserved table in the '67 Club. Space in the area is limited so it is recommended to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

Along with the On-Field Warning Track Cocktail Party, there will be a 3 ½ hour all-you-can-eat buffet being served in the '67 Club starting at 5:00 p.m. The menu includes BBQ Ribs & Chicken, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Vegetable Lasagna, Mac & Cheese, Corn, Pasta & Potato Salad, Tossed Salad, Fruit, Cookies, and Pepsi products. VIP guests 21 & over will also be welcome to an Open Bar featuring beer, wine, and spirits hosted by All-Star Distributing from 5:00 p.m. until the conclusion of the seventh inning.

The Fightin Phils will kick off their home schedule on Friday, April 12 at FirstEnergy Stadium when the team takes on the Erie SeaWolves. Season tickets, mini-plans, and group tickets for 2013 can be purchased online at Fightins.com, by phone at 610-370-BALL, and in-person by visiting the Fightins Ticket Office at FirstEnergy Stadium.
