Legends Fan Fest 2013 - TOMORROW - 10am - 2pm

Fan Fest 2013 marks the day that Legends tickets to individual games go on sale to the general public for the 2013 season.

WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) - The weather is changing for the better and the smell of beer and hotdogs will soon be making their way through Whitaker Bank Ballpark! To start things off right, we're calling all Legends fans to come out to Whitaker Bank Ballpark Saturday, March 16 from 10am - 2pm for the Legends annual Fan Fest!

Fan Fest 2013 is a pre-season event held inside the Kentucky Ale Taproom located in Whitaker Bank Ballpark and includes activities such as inflatables, giveaways, mustache making station and FREE food to any ticket plan holders or any fan that purchases a ticket at the Legends Box Office during Fan Fest 2013.

Fan Fest 2013 marks the day that Legends tickets to individual games go on sale to the general public for the 2013 season. It is also an opportunity for Legends Season Ticket Holders to pick up their ticket packages and start preparing for the upcoming season!

"Fan Fest is one of our favorite events of the year as it truly signals that baseball is indeed right around the corner," said Legends General Manager Seth Poteat. "And we're more excited than ever to get the 2013 season started and take the field for the first time as a proud affiliate of the Kansas City Royals."

 

Also happening at Whitaker Bank Ballpark on March 16 is the Whitaker Bank Baseball Hits for Home Baseball Tournament. The baseball tournament will be a fundraiser for the Salvation Army and the victims of the Spring 2012 tornadoes in Kentucky.

 

The Lexington Legends home opener is set for Monday, April 8 with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm at Whitaker Bank Ballpark against the defending South Atlantic League Champions, Asheville Tourists, an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. Come out to Opening Day as Kids Eat Free courtesy of Member's Heritage Federal Credit Union, also after the game enjoy a spectacular Ford Fireworks show, the first of the season!
