GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Louisville pitchers held the Sounds to four singles as the Bats (AAA-Reds) posted a 4-1 victory over Nashville in spring training action on Monday afternoon at Goodyear Development Complex.

Catcher Robinzon Diaz recorded two of the four hits and drove in the lone run for the Sounds. Hunter Morris and Francisco Castillo had the other two Nashville knocks.

Right-hander Tyler Thornburg made the start for the Sounds and struck out five batters over five innings of action, allowing three runs on six hits. He did not walk a batter in his 72-pitch outing.

Josh Stinson, Jesus Sanchez, and Michael Olmsted each turned in a scoreless inning of relief for Nashville in the contest.

The Sounds (4-4-1) continue their spring slate on Tuesday afternoon when they face the Albuquerque Isotopes at Camelback Sports Complex, their fifth straight road contest.
