Roy Halladay Joining Philadelphia Phillies Roster

Phillies starting pitcher to miss previously scheduled start in Baseballtown

READING, Pa.---Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay will not make his previously scheduled Major League rehab start with the Reading Fightin Phils on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. when the club hosts the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) at FirstEnergy Stadium. Halladay was activated by the Phillies on Sunday and is slated to start the afternoon's game at Citizens Bank Park.

The Fightin Phils would like to apologize for any inconvenience endured by fans expecting Halladay to start at Sunday's game. Those with any questions can contact the Fightin Phils Front Office by visiting Fightins.com or by calling 610-370-BALL. 

Sunday's game is the final afternoon game of 2013 and features a Fightin Phils Team Baseball Card Set giveaway for the first 2,000 kids 14 and under. In addition to the giveaway, it's a Fightin Phils Kids Club Free Ticket game where all members receive a ticket and exclusive access to the team autograph session at 11:30 a.m.
