INDIANAPOLIS -- Right fielder Gregory Polanco went 2-for-4 with a triple, hit-by-pitch and game-winning two-run infield single, while catcher Carlos Paulino scored twice and produced his second straight multi-hit game to help the Indianapolis Indians improve to 8-1 with a 6-4 win over the Toledo Mud Hens on Friday night at Victory Field.

Polanco continued his torrid start to the 2014 season, drawing a hit by pitch, smashing a triple and legging out the eventual game-winning two-run infield single to improve his International League best hitting streak to eight straight games. Along with Polanco, Paulino also helped spark the Indians high flying offense, by posting his second-straight multi-hit effort, while also scoring twice and driving in one.

Toledo jumped out to an early lead with a single score in the first and added three more in the fifth, however a two-run Blake Davis triple and RBI base knocks by Paulino and SS Michael Martinez helped set the stage for Polanco's eventual game-winning knock.

Tribe reliever Zach Thornton picked up his second win of the season after tossing 2.2 scoreless innings of relief, while LHP Andy Oliver notched his first Indians save with an impressive four strikes over 2.0 perfect frames.
