INDIANAPOLIS -- With just his second hit of the season Adalberto Santos provided a game-winning walk-off double in the bottom of the 11th, scoring catcher Tony Sanchez to give the Indianapolis Indians the 6-5 victory over Louisville Bats on Monday night at Victory Field.

While Santos provided the heroics with just his second base knock off the Tribe bench, Sanchez provided the Indians offensive punch in just his second game back since being optioned from Pittsburgh.

After the two teams exchanged single scores in the fourth frame, Louisville powered out to a 3-1 lead with solo homers from Chris Nelson and Mike Wilson in the sixth. However, Sanchez would even things in the bottom of the frame when he lined a two-run single that plated Morel and McGuiness

The Tribe took their first lead of the night in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI double by pinch-hitter Matt Hague and sac fly by Michael Martinez, before the Bats plated two tallies of their own in the top of the eighth to send the game to extras.

Despite not figuring in the final extra-inning decision, Tribe starter Jeff Locke turned in a quality outing, allowing just two earned runs and striking out five over 6.0 IP.
