CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The Tampa Yankees plated six runs in the seventh inning, as the Clearwater Threshers saw their four-game win streak snapped in an 11-2 loss on Thursday night at Bright House Field.

The Threshers (9-11) had kept it close through the front six, but Tampa (11-9) got to Ramon Oviedo to break open the game in the top of the seventh. Yeicok Calderon's two-run homer capped the rally with Tampa up 10-2.

After rain pushed the start of the game back 29 minutes, it was the Threshers who struck first against Rafael De Paula (5-5), plating a run without the aid of a hit in the first inning.

Roman Quinn drew a walk to open the frame, and swiped second for his ninth stolen base of the season. J.P. Crawford then grounded out to first, allowing Quinn to advance 90 feet.

Everett Williams bounced a hard come backer to the hill, which De Paula knocked down with his pitching hand. De Paula's throw home was late and in the dirt, and Quinn scored on the RBI fielder's choice to make it 1-0 Clearwater.

Tampa responded with two runs to grab the lead in the second inning.

Miguel Nunez (2-7) set the side down in order in the first, but Calderon would bloop a single to shallow left field with one out in the second. A pair of walks loaded the bases with two away, and Nunez got in front of Trent Garrison 0-2 before the Yankees catcher lined a two-run single to right to give Tampa the lead.

Dante Bichette Jr. and Aaron Judge each added a solo homer for Tampa in the sixth inning to push the Yankees lead to 4-1.

In the home half, Brian Pointer opened with a deep drive off the wall in left for an opposite-field double. Harold Martinez then deposited a single to left to set up runners at the corners with no out, and Chris Serritella lifted a sacrifice fly to left to score Pointer and cut the deficit to 4-2.

The Yankees, however, would break out in the seventh and bring across six runs on four hits off Oviedo to make it a 10-2 Tampa lead.

Pointer finished the game 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles for Clearwater, while Martinez went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base.

Clearwater continues its five-game home stand on Friday when the Threshers welcome in the Palm Beach Cardinals to kick off a four-game set at Bright House Field. The game can be heard live on threshersbaseball.com beginning at 6:15 p.m.

Friday will also be Pitch for Pink Night, and the Threshers will don pink jerseys which will be auctioned off during the game. A post-game concert will follow, featuring Slick Rick and Coolio. Proceeds from the night will benefit the Morton Plant Mease Foundation.
