Kernels set 2015 Fireworks schedule

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Kernels have 13 spectacular fireworks shows scheduled for 2015 and this season they have added some extra flare. The Kernels will be offering two mid-week fireworks shows and one Friday fireworks show in addition to the 10 Saturday night post-game shows. 

The Kernels first fireworks show is set for Saturday, May 2^nd, the remaining 12 fireworks nights are: Saturday, May 16^th (sponsored by the Eastern Iowa Airport), Saturday, May 30^th; Saturday, June 13^th (sponsored by Procter & Gamble); Thursday, June 18^th; Saturday, June 27^th; Saturday, July 4^th; Friday, July 17^th; Saturday, July 25^th (sponsored by Bank of the West); Wednesday, August 5^th; Saturday, August 8^th; Saturday, August 29^th (sponsored by Cargill/Special Olympics); and Saturday, September 5^th. Look for the RED dates on the Kernels pocket schedule when they come out the week of March 23^rd!

2015 season ticket packages and 10-game coupon books are on sale now at the stadium, or by calling the Kernels at (319) 363-3887. Individual game tickets go on sale Monday, March 23^rd at 10 am.

The 2015 Kernels arrive in Cedar Rapids on Monday, April 6^th and your first chance to meet the new team is on Tuesday, April 7^th as part of 'Meet the Kernels Night' from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. The Kernels open the 2015 MWL season on Thursday, April 9^th at Kane County and the 2015 Home Opener is Sunday, April 12^th when the Kernels host the Beloit Snappers at 4:05 pm.
