MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Iowa Cubs handed the Memphis Redbirds a 11-0 shutout on Saturday night at AutoZone Park in the third game of a four-game series.

The Redbirds offense was held to four hits on the evening. Outfielder Stephen Piscotty doubled to extend his extra-base hit streak to three games. Catcher Travis Tartamella, pinch hitter Cody Stanley, and pitcher Zach Petrick accounted for the club's other hits.

Cubs top prospect Kris Bryant hit his first home run of the season, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored.

Bryant gave Iowa a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, plating former Redbird Adron Chambers on a sacrifice fly. The club added its next run in the third on a Rubi Silva RBI single.

Iowa exploded for six more in the fifth and sixth innings, highlighted by a Rafael Lopez two-run double and pair of run-scoring singles. Chris Valaika added a two run homer in the top of the sixth, his first of the year.

Chambers added a two-run double in the ninth before Bryant's two-run blast concluded the night for Iowa.

Petrick (0-1) took the loss, scattering 10 runs for six runs in 4 1/3 innings. He also struck out three and walked none.

Iowa starter Eric Jokisch walked three over 4 2/3 scoreless innings in a no-decision. Blake Cooper (1-0) was awarded the win with 2 1/3 scoreless frames in relief.
