Silvino Bracho Became 54th Osprey Alum to Reach Majors
Bracho made MLB debut Aug. 30, 2015 for the Arizona Diamondbacks
MISSOULA, Mont. - Former Missoula Osprey Silvino Bracho (2013) made his MLB debut Aug. 30 for the Arizona Diamondbacks and became the 54th Osprey alum to reach the Major Leagues.
In his debut, Bracho pitched one shutout inning in the D-backs 7-4 loss to the Oakland Athletics. The righty struck out one batter and allowed just one hit.
For Missoula, Bracho pitched 26.1 innings, collected 11 saves and struck out 38. He ranked first in the Pioneer League in saves and games finished (23). The hurler held a 1.71 ERA and 0.987 WHIP.
The Osprey return home Tuesday, Sept. 1 and host the Great Falls Voyagers for four games.
