SALT LAKE CITY -- The Tacoma Rainiers never recovered from an early deficit in a 10-1 loss to the Salt Lake Bees at Smith's Ballpark on Tuesday night.

Outfielder Roger Kieschnick and catcher Stephen McGee hit back-to-back homers in the bottom of the second inning to give the Bees an insurmountable 2-0 lead with no outs.

Jabari Blash hit an RBI double in the top of the fourth inning to pull Tacoma within a run, but Salt Lake responded with eight more unanswered runs to seal a victory in the second game of a four-game series between the two clubs.

Tacoma mustered four hits against the Bes pitching staff. Along with Blash's double catcher Mike Zunino went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. He is now batting .500 (8x16) with four extra-base hits and five RBI in four games since joining the Rainiers roster from Seattle on August 28.

Tyler Olson (2-5) was dealt the loss after allowing two runs on four hits through 5.0 innings. The left-hander struck out four without issuing a walk in his fifth start and 24th appearance with the Rainiers this season.

Tacoma (65-73) plays the third game of a four-game series with the Bees at 6:05 p.m. tomorrow, September 2. Left-hander James Paxton (0-1, 9.82) is slated to make his third MLB rehab appearance with the Rainiers. Salt Lake is expected to start left-hander Tyler DeLoach (1-4, 5.74).
