DiChiara Promoted To Box Office Manager

PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos announce the promotion Joey DiChiara to Box Office and Ticket Sales Manager. DiChiara will oversee the selling and maintaining of season tickets, partial plans and group tickets to companies and individuals while managing the box office and ticket sales programs.

"We are very excited about this exciting transition for Joey," said Jonathan Griffith, President of the Blue Wahoos. "As we reach our fifth season and continue to grow in the community, it was important to fill this position with a talented individual with strong roots to the area, and we have accomplished that feat."

DiChiara has been with the Blue Wahoos since the first season when he joined the team as an intern in 2012. He has since been a trainee, assistance box office manager and group sales executive.

A native of Gulf Shores, Ala., DiChiara graduated from Troy University in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. While at Troy, he worked won the Event Operations staff for the Men's and Women's Basketball programs.

DiChiara is replacing Eric Kroll who has started his own business in Jacksonville with his wife.
