Homestand Highlights May 4-8

PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos welcome the Biloxi Shuckers to Blue Wahoos Stadium beginning Wednesday night. All month long, the Blue Wahoos and Whataburger are teaming up to collect goods for USO Northwest Florida. Our homestand includes a costume contest for Star Wars Night, a FANtastic Friday Giveaway, Fireworks Saturday and Bark in the Park on Sunday!

What's Cookin': The Biloxi Shuckers are in town to try their luck at storming the bay, but there is only one problem with that, the Blue Wahoos claim the bay. We will defend Pensacola Bay with the Oyster Shuckafella Basket. The basket features golden fried panko crusted oysters topped with spinach and bacon sauce served with Garlic Parmesan Jo Jo's (Potato Wedges). It is served at Port Side Grill for $10 this homestand only!

Featured Merch: Just like Han Solo, the Blue Wahoos never want to be told the odds. Dress the part for Star Wars Night on May 4th by stopping in the Bait & Tackle Team Store to purchase your Blue Wahoos 'Never Tell Me The Odds' Star Wars t-shirt. Beginning Wednesday, the t-shirt will be available online and in the Bait & Tackle Team Store.

Support the Troops: During the month of May, the Blue Wahoos and Whataburger are teaming up to collect donations for USO Northwest Florida. The USO will deliver the items directly to the troops currently serving the United States. Fans who donate during the drive will receive a coupon for a free Whataburger. This week fans can drop off individually wrapped salty and sweet snacks such as pretzels, cookies, peanut butter crackers, etc. Bottled water will be accepted all month long.

Star Wars Night - Celebrate Star Wars day at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Show your Star Wars spirit as dressing up as your favorite Jedi, Sith, Imperial or Rebel for our costume contest. Be sure to check-in at fan assistance to sign-up for Star Wars themed onfield activities and for the costume contest.  
Silver Wahoos - Our dancing group, the Silver Wahoos presented by the Retirement Planners, will perform at tonight's game. 

Thursday, May 5 vs. Biloxi Shuckers
First pitch at 6:30 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Throwback Thursday - Head down to Seville Quarter, park for free, enjoy drink specials and $5 appetizers, and then ride the free Wahoo Choo Choo tram to the stadium. Once at the game, continue to enjoy the drink specials in the park as we throwback to The Three Amigos. 
Cinco de Mayo/Three Amigos Night - Enjoy $4 Coronas, a pepper eating contest and more at Blue Wahoos Stadium to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
Gulf Breeze Night - Join us in recognizing the local communities who support the Blue Wahoos. The Gulf Breeze Rotary Club is the fundraiser of the night receiving the proceeds of the 50/50 raffle.

Friday, May 6 vs. Biloxi Shuckers
First pitch at 6:30 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
FANtastic Friday Drawstring Bag Giveaway - The first 2,000 fans will receive a Blue Wahoos drawstring bag presented by CPC Office Technologies. Limit one per person. 

Saturday, May 7 vs. Biloxi Shuckers
First pitch at 6:30 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Fireworks Saturday - The best fireworks show on the Gulf Coast will be after game and is presented by Navy Federal Credit Union. 
Boy Scout Night -Join us for our annual Boy Scout Night at the beautiful Blue Wahoos Stadium! Boy Scouts will participate in a pregame parade around the field and enjoy an optional campout and movie on the field after the game! 

Sunday, May 8 vs. Biloxi Shuckers
First pitch at 4:00 p.m., Gates open at 3:00 p.m.
McDonald's Family Sunday - Families can enjoy Sunday afternoons on the Pensacola Bay with the Blue Wahoos! Presented by McDonald's, kids can run the bases postgame and play catch on the field! 
Little Pirate Day - Dress up in your best pirate gear and join us for a costume contest and treasure hunt at Blue Wahoos Stadium!
Mother's Day - Celebrate Mother's Day at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Onfield activities between mom's and children will take place between innings. 
Bark in the Park - You and your furry friend can watch the game from Hill-Kelly Hill on Sunday! A pet supply drive (supplies ranging from dog food to laundry detergent are desired) for the Pensacola Humane Society will take place.
