NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - David Paulino and lefty Kent Emanuel combined to one-hit Arkansas Thursday night, resulting in a rain-soaked 4-0 victory at Dickey-Stephens Park.

Corpus Christi's (32-20) Texas League leading seventh shutout puts the club a season-high 12 games over .500.

Paulino (2-2) matched a season best with eight strikeouts over five innings. The only hit he allowed was a two-out single by Angel Rosa in the fifth.

Emanuel retired all 12 men he faced, striking out five. He has been charged with one run and four hits in nine frames since returning from Tommy John surgery.

Thursday marked Corpus Christi's first nine-inning one-hitter since May 24, 2013, vs. Frisco.
