PawSox Upcoming Homestand to Include 90s Fireworks, Mini-Bat Giveaway, and Wade Boggs Bobblehead Night

June 19, 2016

Enchanting summer nights continue this homestand with the PawSox as the Blue Jays and Yankees Triple A affiliates come to town June 20 through June 26.

We begin on My Hero Monday by honoring 8-year-old Dennis Leonardo, a Bristol native who witnessed his 10-month-old brother choking on a piece of food, and had the presence of mind to make the 911 call that ultimately saved his life.

On Throwback Thursday the PawSox will be sporting their classic Slaters uniforms, and honoring Nap Lajoie, the baseball Hall of Famer who hailed from Woonsocket. Lajoie's playing card will be passed out to the first 3,000 fans that enter the gates, and kids from Woonsocket Little League will be joining the PawSox to celebrate Lajoie's legacy.

The weekend kicks off with a Free Mini-Bat Friday, presented by Bank of America, where 3,000 fans be receiving delightful PawSox souvenirs. The evening will conclude with one of our signature post-game fireworks displays, themed to the tune of your favorite songs from the 90s.

After getting enshrined into the PawSox Hall of Fame in March, and having his number retired at Fenway Park in May, the PawSox will be hosting Wade Boggs Bobblehead Night on June 25th to celebrate the PawSox great. The evening is presented by Bristol County Savings Bank and WEEI, and will mark the PawSox' first-ever bobblhead night chosen by YOU--- the fans.

The homestand culminates with Irish Heritage Day and everybody running the bases on a Sunday Family Funday, June 26.
