Sounds and Ashley HomeStore to Host "Hope to Dream" June 29

June 20, 2016

The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club and Ashley HomeStore will host "Hope to Dream" at First Tennessee Park on June 29. The event is designed to give 25 underprivileged children from the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee a new bed to take home.

In addition to receiving their very own bed set, all children will have the opportunity to tour First Tennessee Park, run the bases, have a pizza party courtesy of 312 Pizza Company and interact with Sounds players.

"This is such a great event for children in the Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee," said Sounds General Manager and COO Adam Nuse. "We're beyond excited to host the event and involve our players with the support from Ashley HomeStore."

Check-in will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the suite entrance. The tour with Sounds players and staff is set to begin at 6:00. Part of the tour will be running the bases and visiting the Sounds' clubhouse.

At 7:15 p.m., the children will be welcomed into the Brauer Lounge on the second level of First Tennessee Park. Nuse and William Ing, Ashley HomeStore Director of Retail for Nashville, will speak and surprise the children with their very own bed set to take home.

Media personnel are welcome to attend the event beginning at 5:30 p.m. Nuse, Ing and Sounds players in attendance will be available for interviews after the beds are presented.

The 2016 season is the Sounds' 19th year in the Pacific Coast League and their second as the Oakland Athletics' top affiliate. Tickets are available now by calling (615) 690-4487 or by visiting www.nashvillesounds.com.
