BlueClaws Release 2017 Schedule

The 2016 regular season might be winding down with the BlueClaws on a push for the post-season, but the BlueClaws are already gearing up for 2017! The team released their 2017 schedule on Thursday, with Opening Day at FirstEnergy Park on Thursday, April 13th against Greensboro after the BlueClaws spend the first week of the season on the road.

The BlueClaws will open the 2017 season with four games in Kannapolis (White Sox) on April 6th followed by three games in Hagerstown (Nationals) beginning April 10th before the home opener on Thursday, April 13th against Greensboro (Marlins).

The first homestand of the season at FirstEnergy Park starts with single games on April 13th & 14th. On Saturday, April 15th, Lakewood and Greensboro will play a day/night, separate admission double-header, with no game on Easter Sunday, April 16th. 

Both Yankees and Mets affiliates will be in Lakewood in 2017. Charleston (Yankees) will be at FirstEnergy Park for a three-game series from July 15th - 17th. Columbia (Mets) will be in Lakewood for a four-game series from May 13th - 16th. 

"We're busy finishing this season, which hopefully will see the BlueClaws in the playoffs, but we're already getting ready for next season," said BlueClaws General Manager Chris Tafrow. "It's always fun to see what lies ahead, and we promise 2017 is going to be as Clawsome as can be!"

The schedule features 11 Friday and Saturday games plus 12 Thursday night games. The BlueClaws will be home on Mother's Day (May 14th) and Father's Day (June 18th). The Independence Day fireworks spectacular will take place on Monday, July 3rd. The season concludes with a seven-game homestand that runs through Labor Day (September 4th).

2017 BlueClaws Ticket Packages are currently on sale either at FirstEnergy Park or by calling 732-901-7000 option 3. Any package ordered by September 5th includes complimentary Upstairs Club passes for 2017. Full season tickets ordered before November 4th also come with $50 savings per seat reserved. 

What If I Decide Later I Want a Certain Giveaway or Want to See a Certain Entertainer?
Each BlueClaws ticket package comes with the BlueClaws Flexible Exchange Policy. If you book your ticket package today, and later find that you'd like to come get a certain giveaway item or a family event comes up and you can't make one of the games you've already selected, no problem! You'll be able to exchange your tickets for any other game on the schedule. This is a benefit offered exclusively to BlueClaws ticket package holders. 

What Plans Come With Early Entrance?
BlueClaws Full-Season Tickets (70 games), Half-Season Tickets (35 games) and Partial Plans (15 games) come with early entrance. Fans with this package can enter the park 90 minutes before the game, instead of 60 like all other fans.
