INDIANAPOLIS - Tribe infielder Christopher Bostick has been named Indians Player of the Week for the second straight time after improving his hit streak to 15 games. His streak paces the International League this season and is the longest by a Tribe player since Chris Dickerson strung together a 16-gamer from April 29-May 19, 2014.

Bostick continued to be a menace to opposing pitchers in contests against Pawtucket, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Toledo. The Rochester, NY native hit .406 (13-for-32) for the week with two home runs, two doubles and four RBI out of the leadoff spot. He tallied multiple hits in five of seven games and hit a leadoff home run in game two of the April 27 doubleheader at Pawtucket, the second leadoff blast of his career.
His performance this past week helped bump his season average to .333 (31-for-93), which is tied for third in the IL. He also ranks among league leaders in total hits (T-2nd) and extra-base hits (T-5th, 11).
Honorable Mention: Max Moroff was also in contention for Player of the Week after hitting .333 (10-for-30) with a home run, five RBI and tallying multiple hits in four games.
