Inclement weather washes away opener, rescheduled for May 16 twin bill

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Game one between the Indianapolis Indians and Columbus Clippers has been postponed due to inclement weather. This marks the second time this season where the Indians have been dealt consecutive postponements due to poor weather conditions.

The two teams will make-up tonight's game as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, May 16 at Huntington Park. Game one of that twin bill will begin at 5:35 p.m., with game two beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games will be seven-inning contests.
Weather pending, Indy and Columbus will take a crack at their series opener on Saturday night at Huntington Park, with first pitch set for 6:15 p.m. The Indians will send left-hander Steven Brault (0-3, 3.86) to the mound, while the Clippers counter with southpaw Ryan Merritt (2-2, 4.82). The broadcast can be heard on Fox Sports 97.5 or AM 1260.
