Indianapolis (32-28) could not climb out of a 3-0 hole early on. The Tribe did score one in the second inning, but it was their only run, as the Clippers' pitching staff hurled seven straight scoreless innings.

Tribe starter, Kingham (2-2), took the loss surrendering six runs (five earned) on seven hits over 4.1 innings.
Columbus' starter Shawn Morimando (4-5), earned the win going 6.2 innings and allowing one earned run, while striking out six.
The Indians lost just their second game at Huntington Park this season. Indy is now 6-2 on the road at the Columbus. The Tribe have now lost three straight contests.
