Dodgers Win Third Straight Game

Oklahoma City takes a 3-0 lead in series against Nashville Saturday night in Bricktown

Oklahoma City - A three-run fourth inning propelled the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a third straight win as they defeated the Nashville Sounds, 4-1, Saturday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.With the win, the Dodgers took a 3-0 lead in their four-game series against the Sounds in front of a crowd

Oklahoma City - A three-run fourth inning propelled the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a third straight win as they defeated the Nashville Sounds, 4-1, Saturday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
With the win, the Dodgers took a 3-0 lead in their four-game series against the Sounds in front of a crowd of 9,886.

Nashville (36-38) had the chance to break through a scoreless tie in the fourth inning.
The Sounds loaded the bases with two outs, but Dodgers starting pitcher Wilmer Font got Matt McBride to pop up and end the inning.
The Dodgers (41-32) scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
O'Koyea Dickson hit a RBI double to the wall in right-center field to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead. Willie Calhoun also tried to score from first base on the play, but was thrown out at the plate.
Brett Eibner followed with a walk before Kyle Farmer hit a two-out RBI single into left field to bring home Dickson for a 2-0 Dodgers lead. Eibner advanced to third base on the play and scored on a wild pitch by Nashville's Ben Bracewell to extend the Dodgers to a 3-0 lead.
Nashville's Jaff Decker homered out to left field with one out in the fifth inning to cut Oklahoma City's lead to 3-1.
In the eighth inning, Dickson drew a two-out walk and scored on a RBI double by Eibner to push the Dodgers' lead to 4-1.
Font (6-4) was credited with the win for Oklahoma City, holding the Sounds to one run over 5.1 innings, allowing five hits, two walks and striking out three.
Jeremy Bleich, Josh Fields and Madison Younginer combined to pitch 3.2 scoreless innings to close out the game. Younginer earned his fifth save of the season.
Nashville starting pitcher Ben Bracewell (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs on three hits with three walks and four strikeouts.
The Dodgers conclude their home series against the Nashville Sounds at 6:05 p.m. Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday. Each Sunday home game offers family friendly activities throughout the afternoon, including pregame player autographs and kids can run the bases after the game.
