INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians scored five runs over their final two at bats to back an 11-strikeout performance from Tyler Glasnow in an 8-2 rout of the Louisville Bats Saturday night at Victory Field. Glasnow continued his dominance of International League opponents as the 23-year-old recorded his third straight double-digit strikeout game.

Indianapolis (46-35) led from start to finish, scoring three times in the first against Tyler Mahle after Glasnow struck out the side in the top half. The Indians led two batters in when Christopher Bostick roped a double to left to score Eury Pérez from first base. Two batters later, Danny Ortiz crushed a two-run shot to right.
Provided with a 3-0 lead after one inning, Glasnow punched out two more batters in the second before Louisville (32-49) plated its first run in the third. Glasnow walked his counterpart Mahle ahead of a Hernan Iribarren two-out double that made it 3-1.
Glasnow posted zeroes in the fourth and fifth and was one strike away from completing six frames, but Dilson Herrera cracked a 2-2 offering to right-center for his seventh home run to knock him out of the game.
Casey Sadler was summoned from the bullpen to complete the inning, beginning a perfect stretch from the relief corps. Sadler retired all four batters he faced before A.J. Schugel and Johnny Barbato worked 1-2-3 innings to seal the victory.
Indy pulled away from the Bats with three runs in the seventh, the final two coming on a two-out, two-run single by Bostick. Another two-run single by Erich Weiss in the eighth capped the scoring.
Glasnow (2-0) earned the win after yielding two runs on four hits in 5.2 innings of work. Mahle (0-2) was handed the loss after allowing six runs (three earned) on eight hits over seven frames.
The Indians and Bats continue their four-game weekend series Sunday afternoon at Victory Field. Indianapolis will send right-hander Nick Kingham (3-4, 4.91) to the mound, opposite Bats righty Lisalverto Bonilla (2-3, 6.19). First pitch is set for 1:35 p.m.
