INDIANAPOLIS -Tyler Glasnow hurled seven innings and Danny Ortiz went 2-for-4 with two runs scored as Indianapolis cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Rochester Red Wings Tuesday night. The triumph extended Indy's winning streak and International League West Division lead to three games.

Indianapolis (57-45) jumped on major league rehabbing Héctor Santiago for four runs in one-plus inning pitched. The run support was more than enough for Glasnow who improved to 16-4 overall in Triple-A.
Joey Terdoslavich grounded a two-out double down the left-field line in the first to score Kevin Newman who walked and swiped second - his first Triple-A stolen base - giving the Tribe a 1-0 lead.
Indy scored three more runs in the second by taking advantage of Rochester (58-44) miscues. Phil Gosselin doubled to start the frame and moved to third on Ortiz's first of two singles. Moments later, Gosselin scored on a passed ball to make it 2-0. Gift Ngoepe then worked a walk ahead of a Drew Rucinski wild pitch, and Christopher Bostick drove home two with a fielder's choice to short. On the play, Engelb Vielma's throw to the plate sailed to the backstop when Ortiz collided with catcher John Ryan Murphy, allowing Ngoepe to sprint home.
The Red Wings broke the seal in the sixth when former Tribe first baseman/outfielder Matt Hague took Glasnow deep for his eighth home run of the season. Hague hit 38 home runs for Indianapolis from 2011-14.
Jordan Luplow provided Indy with an insurance run in the eighth on a slow grounder to third, plating Ortiz who opened the inning with a knock and stolen base.
Murphy sliced a run-scoring single down the right-field in the ninth, bringing the tying run to the on-deck circle. Ngoepe prevented further damage, however, when he snared a game-ending line drive off the bat of Vielma on a ball ticketed for right-center.
Glasnow (6-0) earned his sixth win in eight starts for Indy by allowing only Hague's home run, one of four hits he surrendered. He walked three and fanned seven. Santiago (0-1) took the loss for Rochester.
The Indians and Red Wings continue their four-game series Wednesday afternoon. The Tribe will send right-hander Tyler Eppler (6-5, 4.96) to the bump, opposite Red Wings righty Dillon Gee (2-1, 2.14). First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET.
