INDIANAPOLIS - Daniel Robertson saved a run with a diving catch in the third before delivering a go-ahead two-run single in the seventh to lead the Columbus Clippers past the Indianapolis Indians, 3-2, Sunday afternoon at Victory Field. Tyler Glasnow and Edgar Santana combined to strike out 13 batters in the loss.

Columbus (68-66) erased a 2-1 deficit with Robertson's single in the seventh against Glasnow. Tyler Naquin started the rally with a double into the left-field corner and took third on a wild pitch as Richie Shaffer worked a walk. Another wild pitch allowed Shaffer to move up 90 feet before Robertson bounced his single into center with the infield drawn in.
Indianapolis (74-59) put its first three batters on in the bottom of the ninth against Cole Sulser, but a 1-2-3 double play and strikeout snapped the Tribe's winning streak at four games.
The Tribe grabbed a 1-0 lead after one inning against Adam Plutko. With runners at the corners and one away, Jordan Luplow struck out swinging while Christopher Bostick broke late for second base. The delayed steal allowed Kevin Newman to sprint home before Bostick was tagged out.
A bunt single by Michael Martinez and throwing error on the play set up a run for the visitors in the fourth. Two groundouts later eventually scored Martinez to even the score at 1-1.
Indy regained the lead in the fifth on Erich Weiss' third home run of the homestand and sixth overall.
Glasnow (8-2) surrendered three runs (two earned) on three hits in six-plus innings of work. He walked two and struck out nine but was left on the hook for the loss. Adam Plutko (7-12) earned the win for Columbus while Sulser nailed down his second save.
The Indians kick off a nine-game road trip with a doubleheader at Louisville on Monday night. Right-hander Tyler Eppler (7-8, 5.06) will start in the opener for Indy, and lefty Cody Dickson (4-3, 4.09) is expected to start the nightcap. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m. The radio broadcast will be streamed online at foxsports975.com.
