Ray to manage Padres' ACL squad in 2023
Lukas Ray will return to manage the Padres' Arizona Complex League team after guiding the rookie-level affiliate to 29 wins last summer. Ray, who joined San Diego in 2021 as a fielding coach and then took over as ACL Padres manager in 2022, will be joined by pitching coaches Yoel
Lukas Ray will return to manage the Padres' Arizona Complex League team after guiding the rookie-level affiliate to 29 wins last summer.
Ray, who joined San Diego in 2021 as a fielding coach and then took over as ACL Padres manager in 2022, will be joined by pitching coaches Yoel Monzon, Robbie Price and Leo Rosales along with hitting coaches Eric Del Prado, and Miguel Del Castillo. Ray led the ACL Padres to a 29-25 record, good for second place in the ACL West.
