Once again, the Mud Hens put a beating on Columbus pitching, winning decisively 10-3 over the Clippers at Huntington Park.

The Mud Hens got off to a fast start as Ryan Rayburn hit a deep two run bomb to left center. Danny Worth added to the Hens advantage with an RBI single to center and just like that Toledo led 3-0 after a half an inning of play.

The Clippers would get some runs in the bottom of the second. RBI singles by Luke Carlin and Gregorio Petit got Columbus to within 3-2, but Cord Phelps was tagged out in a rundown between second and third to end the inning.

Toledo would get back both of those runs and then some in the top of the third. A Danny Worth walk with the bases loaded plated a fourth run for the Mud Hens. Two more runs would come in on an Aregenis Diaz RBI sacrifice fly to right and a Justin Henry RBI double to right, making it a 6-2 affair.

Diaz would later add to the Hens' lead with RBI single to center in the top of the fifth and Ben Guez tallied an RBI double to left in the top of the seventh.

Although Tim Fedroff homered in the bottom of the sixth, it was not enough as Toledo beat the Clippers for the second straight night. Brooks Brown (W, 4-3) got the win for the Hens. David Berger (L, 2-5) was hit with the loss for Columbus.

The Clippers will conclude its three game set with the Mud Hens on Friday night. It will be a pair of right-handers facing off against one another as Jeanmar Gomez (6-4, 3.80) goes for Columbus and Toledo sends Thad Weber (7-11, 4.20) to the hill. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
