With the victory, Toledo clinched the series, having taken three of the first four games.

Both starting pitchers, Adam Plutko (3-3) for the Clippers and Josh Turley (2-1) for Toledo, were fantastic as each worked into the eighth inning, giving their teams excellent chances to win.
It was Turley who bested Plutko in the end, though. Back from his first career big league action in Cleveland, Plutko made it seven and one-third innings before being pulled for Ben Taylor. Plutko was the bad luck loser, as he left two on in the eighth for Taylor, who proceeded to allow a three-run homer to Christian Stewart, giving Toledo the 3-0 lead.
Pultko gave up seven hits and two runs, while walking two and striking out two in his seven and one-third.
Turley went eight shutout innings, allowing just two hits, while walking three and fanning two.
He was relieved by Victor Alcántara who closed the ballgame in the ninth to secure the 3-0 win.
The Clippers and Mud Hens will face off tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.
