Despite having a three-run lead on two different occasions, the Dust Devils could not keep up with Boise's offense. The Hawks were able to score nine runs over the last three innings of the game off of Tri-City's bullpen. Reliever Alex Cunningham suffered the loss for the Dust Devils in his debut with the team after allowing three earned runs in the seventh inning. In addition to Aragon's big night at the plate, Robbie Podorsky also produced two hits for Tri-City.
