Hops Rally After Rain Delay to Beat Tri-City

The Tri-City Dust Devils jumped out to a three-run lead on Saturday night, but the Hillsboro Hops scored six unanswered runs to hand Tri-City the 6-3 loss. The game featured a 37-minute delay during the bottom of the fourth inning due to heavy rain. Hillsboro touched up the Tri-City bullpen in the sixth and seventh innings for four runs, handing reliever Troy Neiman his first loss of the season.

The teams will return to action Sunday in the only afternoon game of the series, beginning at 1:35 p.m. The Dust Devils will send Northwest League All-Star Ryan Warner to the mound. The Hops will counter with Austin Platt. Tri-City will return home Tuesday, August 13th to face the Spokane Indians.
