Late Rally Falls Short in Boise

A surge of power was not enough for the Tri-City Dust Devils Sunday night as the team fell to the Hawks 11-9 in Boise. Rodney Polonia hit his first career home run and David Bergin added a three-run shot in the loss. The Dust Devils had a strong performance at the plate, but the pitching staff struggled with the potent Boise offense. 

Ryan Warner will toe the rubber for Tri-City on Monday night in the fourth game of the series. Josh Conway is scheduled to start for the Hawks. The Dust Devils return to Gesa Stadium on Wednesday for the home opener against the Everett AquaSox. There will be both a schedule magnet giveaway courtesy of Pizza Hut and postgame fireworks presented by C-O Energy on Wednesday. The home opener begins an eight-game homestand for the Dust Devils.
