JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Johnson City Cardinals' scheduled game Saturday evening against the Pulaski Yankees at TVA Credit Union Ballpark has been postponed due to rain. Saturday's contest will be made up on Sunday afternoon as a part of a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. ET.
Saturday night's postgame fireworks show has also been postponed due to the weather. The Independence Day fireworks extravaganza has been rescheduled for following Monday night's series finale against Pulaski.
Saturday's contest marks the first postponed game for the Cardinals this season. Last year, Johnson City had nine games postponed.
Johnson City is scheduled to throw RHP Johan Oviedo (1-0, 0.00 ERA) - St. Louis' No. 26 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com - in game one of Sunday's twinbill and LHP Brett Seeburger (1-0, 0.00 ERA) for his first professional start in the nightcap. Pulaski is projected to send Saturday's starter - RHP Wellington Caceres (0-0, 6.75 ERA) - in game of the doubleheader and RHP Gilmael Troya (1-0, 1.59 ERA) in game two.
The Cardinals Pre-Game Show will kick off the broadcast at 4:45 p.m. ET, leading up to the 5:00 p.m. ET start at TVA Credit Union Ballpark. Sunday evening's twinbill can be heard on NBCSportsTriCities.com, JCCardinals.com or via the TuneIn Radio and MiLB First Pitch apps. 
Sunday's twinbill will mark the Cardinals' first Sunday Funday of the season with special on-field promotions, as well as special discouns to the Kids Zone.
