ABOUT THE BROADCAST

Matt enters his first season as the Broadcaster for the Johnson City Cardinals. Last season, Matt worked as the Broadcaster & Media Relations intern for the Purcellville Cannons of the Valley Baseball League, an NCAA & MLB-sanctioned collegiate summer baseball league in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia.

Matt was born in New Jersey but also lived in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Sports Broadcasting from the University of Alabama. He was a part of the Sports Staff on 90.7 the Capstone, the school's student radio station. During his time at Alabama, Matt broadcasted multiple Crimson Tide Sports, including, basketball, baseball and was part of several sports talk shows.
