Jupiter falls in game 1; game 2 postponed

In game 1, runs were scarce from both teams. Fort Myers struck first with a solo home run in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead.
The Hammerheads would threaten in their half of the second with the bases loaded, but couldn't manufacture any runs.

Jorge Guzman, who made his fourth start, struggled with control once again. He walked four batters through five innings of work. Guzman's final line: 5 IP. 3 H. 1ER. 1 K.
Jupiter's bats struggled to get any type of rhythm and were kept scoreless as Fort Myers was victorious in a 1-0 ballgame.
Game 2 was postponed due to inclement weather.
A double-header is scheduled for Wednesday (5/16), with the first game beginning at 5 p.m. and game 2 beginning 30 minutes following duration of game 1.
