This season will also feature new game times for Monday through Saturday home games. Games will now begin at 6:30 p.m. while Sunday games will remain the same, starting at 4:00 p.m.

Camp Day, which has become a yearly tradition, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27th. The game is a scheduled day game designed to allow local camps and organizations to bring out their kids to a game as well as giving fans the opportunity to experience a day game at Hunter Wright Stadium.

In conjunction with the City of Kingsport's FunFest activities, the KMets will host their annual "FunFest Night at the Ballpark" on Monday, July 17. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a postgame fireworks show. All general admission tickets for the FunFest game are $3.

To help celebrate the Kingsport spirit and the City's 100th year, the KMets will take part in Kingsport's centennial celebration on Sunday June 25, the first home game of the season. In honor of the City, the KMets will change their name for that game to the "Kingsport Spirit" and wear special centennial jerseys celebrating the milestone. The game starts at 4:00 p.m.

Other promotions to keep an eye out for on the schedule are post-game fireworks, giveaway nights and the very popular Dollar Thursday. Dollar Thursday promotion is $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 beer every Thursday home game. Visit soon for more of the upcoming promotional schedule.

In 2016, the KMets finished with a 27-41 overall record, fourth-place in the Appalachian League West Division. The KMets have won the West Division and made the playoffs two of the last four seasons.
