WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) - The Lexington Legends are excited to host the Rome Braves for a four-game series at Whitaker Bank Ballpark beginning Monday, May 21 at 7:05 p.m. Nights at the ballpark will include Halfway to Thanksgiving, Multiples Night and even an appearance by Saved By The Bell's Mr. Belding.
"We are very excited to welcome in one of the biggest stars of the 90's with Mr. Belding and give our fans the opportunity to get autographs and take photos with him. We strive to give our fans the most memorable experiences, and this will definitely be one of those," said Legends President/CEO, Andy Shea.
Monday, May 21 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Rome: Calling all twins, triples, quadruplets and more! The Legends will be hosting Multiples Night during the first night of the home stand. You don't have to be a multiple to take advantage of Free Parking Monday presented by Members Heritage.
Tuesday, May 22, at 7:05 p.m. vs. Rome: It might still only be May, but who says you can't start the Thanksgiving celebration a little early? It is Halfway to Thanksgiving and the Legends are feeling mighty thankful. Fans and players will be able to show what they are thankful for between innings when the Legends hand out signs for fans to state what they are grateful for. Fans can also indulge in $0.25 Eisenberg Hot Dogs all night long.
Wednesday, May 23 at 1:05 p.m. vs. Rome: If the Legends win, the fans win! If the Legends come away victorious after the afternoon affair with the Braves, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to next Wednesday's game facing the West Virginia Power.
Thursday, May 24 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Rome: Teachers are invited to Whitaker Bank Ballpark to celebrate the school year and take in a baseball game on Teacher Appreciation Night. They will be involved in on-field promotions throughout the game, in what is sure to be an A+ night. One of the most famous Principals will also be making an appearance at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Mr. Belding from Saved By the Bell will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs, take pictures and find out exactly what is going on in here. Teachers who show their ID at the box office will receive $3 off box seats for the night. On Throwback Thursday, the Legends will be throwing it back to the 90's with scrunchies, neon clothing and more. Be prepared for all the best hits, including the sweet tunes of the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls and other top groups from that decade. It is also Thirsty Thursday courtesy of Kentucky Ale and Pepsi. Enjoy $1 12 oz. beers and $3 16 oz. beers at the Bullpen Patio, First Base Pavilion Tent, and the Handlebar in the first base concourse. $1 Pepsi products will be available in the 1st base and 3rd base concession stands. Fans can also bring their best friend, of the K9 variety, for Bark in the Park with a $2 donation to Scott County Humane Society.
