Game Summary: Michael Busch hit a go-ahead home run in the seventh inning for the Oklahoma City Dodgers in a 6-5 win against the Round Rock Express Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. With Oklahoma City trailing, 5-4, Busch hit a two-run homer out to left-center field for a one-run Dodgers lead. Round Rock (36-33) took the first lead of the night in the first inning on a RBI double by Elier Hernandez. OKC (43-26) answered with a RBI single by Jason Martin in the bottom of the frame. In the second inning, the Dodgers took the lead on a RBI double by Miguel Vargas followed by a sacrifice fly by Jake Lamb. A three-run homer by the Express’ Nash Knight in the fourth inning regained the lead for Round Rock, which then added a run on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. The Dodgers trimmed the lead to one run in the sixth inning when a run scored on a fielder’s choice with the bases loaded before Busch’s homer in the seventh inning.

-With Thursday’s win, the Dodgers took a 2-1 lead in their series against the Express and improved to 43-26 overall matching their season-high mark of 17 games above .500. The Dodgers have now followed up each of their last eight losses with a victory and have not lost consecutive games in the month of June.
-Michael Busch hit his fourth home run in the last eight games and his 17th of the season overall between Double-A Tulsa and OKC. Busch has now hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, going 18-for-59 (.305) with nine extra-base hits and 13 RBI, including a 12-game hitting streak that ended Wednesday.
-Jake Lamb picked up a hit, walk, RBI and scored a run as he boosted his career-best hitting streak to 14 games. During the stretch, he is 21-for-54 (.389) with three homers, seven doubles, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored. The streak is the longest by a Dodgers player this season and the longest since Edwin Ríos hit safely in 14 straight games in August 2019.
-After being shut out Wednesday night, the Dodgers responded with six runs Thursday, scoring six runs for the seventh time in the last eight games and for the 12th time in the last 15 games.
-Miguel Vargas hit a double and recorded two RBI and is now 9-for-24 over his last six games with six RBI, five walks and four runs scored. In 15 games against the Express this season, Vargas has 22 hits and 18 RBI.
-The Dodgers improved to 11-8 in one-run games this season as each of their last two games have been decided by one run.
