(Missoula) - The Owlz were denied a three-game winning streak on Saturday night, losing the Missoula Osprey, 7-4, in game two of a three-game series. Missoula jumped out early, scoring four runs in the first inning thanks to a fielder's choice and a three-run homer from Zack Shannon. (Missoula) - The Owlz were denied a three-game winning streak on Saturday night, losing the Missoula Osprey, 7-4, in game two of a three-game series. 
Missoula jumped out early, scoring four runs in the first inning thanks to a fielder's choice and a three-run homer from Zack Shannon. The Osprey added to their total in the second inning with another run, jumping out to a 5-0 lead.

The Owlz got on the board in the third inning. Justin Jones started the inning with a single and moved to second when Rayneldy Rosario reached on a fielder's choice. After Livan Soto walked, Kevin Maitan hit into a double play, scoring Jones, cutting the deficit to 5-1. Rosario then sprinted home on a wild pitch, cutting the Osprey's lead to 5-2.
After Missoula added another run in the third and one more in the fifth inning, the Owlz tried to rally in the ninth. The first three batters in the inning reached before Rayneldy Rosario drove in a run with a single to center. Soto then pulled the Owlz to within three runs with a fielder's choice scoring David Clawson.
Osprey reliever Pedro Zorrilla (2-2) earned the win while Cole Duensing (0-10) was charged with the loss. Bryan Menendez (7) retired the Owlz with the tying run at the plate in the ninth inning, earning the save. The Owlz and Osprey will finish the series Sunday night at 5:05.
