(Missoula, MT) David Clawson collected three hits, leading the Orem Owlz (9-18) over the Missoula Osprey (15-12) 3-2 on Saturday night in Missoula.

Owlz starter Kelvin Moncion made his first start of the 2019 season and threw four shutout innings, setting a new season high in innings pitched and strikeouts, striking out five batters.
The Owlz opened the scoring in the fifth inning when Jeremiah Jackson doubled to left-center, scoring Kevin Arias. Later in the inning, D'Shawn Knowles drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to left, extending the lead to 2-0.
David Clawson upped the Owlz lead to 3-0 with a home run to right, his second of the season.
Missoula closed the gap in the bottom of the sixth inning on a Francis Martinez two-run homer.
Dazon Cole (2) came on in the ninth inning and allowed a single and walked a pair but struck out the side for the save in an Owlz 3-2 win. Tanner Chock (1-2) earned the win while Nick Merchese (2-1) was charged with the loss. The Owlz start a four-game series Sunday afternoon at 4:00 in Idaho Falls.
