(Idaho Falls) - The Owlz saw a three-run lead evaporate in a 7-4 loss to the Idaho Falls Chukars in the series finale at Melaleuca Field.
Idaho Falls opened the scoring on Saturday night thanks to a Jesus Atencio double that scored Hunter Strong in the second inning.

Owlz starter Cristopher Molina turned in another brilliant outing. After allowing a run in the second, Molina worked three consecutive scoreless innings, allowing just one run over five innings of work.
D'Shawn Knowles got the offense started for the Owlz in the fourth inning with a leadoff double. Connor Fitzsimons then tied the game with a single to right, scoring Knowles.
It was Knowles again contributing with his bat in the fourth inning by knocking in a pair with a single to left, giving the Owlz a 3-1 lead. The Owlz added to their lead in the sixth inning thanks to a Francisco Del Valle solo home run to center.
The Owlz lead would not hold up as the Chukars went on to score three runs in both the sixth and eighth innings, coming back to beat the Owlz, 7-4. Jordan Floyd (3-2) earned the win for the Chukars while Sandrac Franco (0-1) was charged with the loss and Daniel James (2) earned the save. The Owlz are back in action after the off-day as they travel to Grand Junction to start a two-game series on Monday night at 5:00 against the Rockies.
