Walsh, O'Keefe lead Palm Beach to walk-off win over Charlotte

Palm Beach picked up a victory on Friday night despite not scoring a run in the game's first nine innings. After Charlotte scored the game's first run in the 10th, Brian O'Keefe's walk-off two-run double sent the Cardinals into the night with a victory.
Cardinals' starter Jake Walsh was nothing less than stellar. He threw seven shutout innings and allowed just two runners on base. He also struck out six and lowered his season ERA to 2.32 through 5 starts at Palm Beach. In his last four starts, Walsh hasn't allowed more than two runs in an outing and has struck out 17 batters. 
Junior Fernandez followed with 1 1/3 scoreless innings. 
Jacob Patterson earned his fourth victory of the season throwing the final 1 2/3 innings. He allowed an unearned run in the 10th.
Heading into extras, Palm Beach had just three hits all night. With Mieses starting the inning on second, pinch hitter Shane Billings hit a single to left, advancing the runner to third. O'Keefe, who was next up, hit a two-strike pitch into the gap which scored both runners. 
Dylan Carlson reached base twice, recording a single and walking. 
With the series evened up, the teams will play game three of the series Saturday night at 5:30 PM. Palm Beach will be hostin Sail Away Night with excursions and trips around the Palm Beach area given out all night long.
