STATEN ISLAND- Another season of fun in the sun is upon us in St. George as the Staten Island Yankees open the 2018 season at Richmond County Bank Ballpark on Friday, June 15 vs. Brooklyn. Individual game tickets go on sale Thursday, May 10, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 718-720-9265 or by visiting siyanks.com.
On a limited basis, All-You-Can-Eat tickets will be sold for individual games for $32 which includes a ticket to the game along with access to the AYCE buffet located at the Harbor Grill behind Section 16. Food service will run for 90 minutes beginning a half-hour after gates open and ending an hour after first pitch. The menu consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, a rotating third protein, macaroni salad, popcorn, soda and water. All-You-Can-Eat tickets must be purchased in advance and may not be purchased the day of the game.

The action starts with Opening Day on Friday, June 15, featuring a special on-field jersey inspired by Woody Guthrie's original lyrics for "This Land is Your Land". To go along with the on-field jerseys, the first 1,500 fans through the gates will get a replica jersey sponsored by Richmond County Savings Bank. It will also be NYPD Appreciation Night with the first post-game fireworks show of the summer to end the night.
The tradition of post-game fireworks on the waterfront continues with a spectacular pyrotechnics display following every Saturday night home game, select Fridays, and on Fourth of July. Dates include: June 15, June 22, June 23, July 4, July 7, July 14, July 21, Aug. 4, Aug. 10 and Aug. 31.
Celebrate Father's Day at the ballpark on Sunday, June 17, with a special 1:30 p.m. first pitch. Following the game, all fathers are invited to a Watch Dig on the infield where three watches will be buried, presented by Tissot. All fans in attendance will also be invited to bring their gloves and have a post-game catch in the outfield. It will also be Sensory Friendly Day catering to the needs of those who are not able to enjoy an average day at the ballpark. Suites will be available to those in need of a quiet and cluster free environment throughout the game.
Thursday night games at the ballpark will be for cheap beer and nostalgia this season with both Thirsty Thursdays, featuring reduced beer pricing at the concessions, and Throwback Thursdays making a return to the calendar. Throwback Thursday dates will be: June 21 (60's), July 12 (80's), Aug. 2 (70's) and Aug. 30 (90's).
We celebrate the international sport of soccer on Friday, June 22, with World Cup Night. The New York Red Bulls street team will be on hand to add some flair to the evening, and the first 1,000 fans in attendance will get a travel tumbler sponsored by IBEW.
Expand your knowledge at Space & Science Night on Saturday, June 23. Leading up to the game will be the Special Olympics New York Law Enforcement Torch Run on Staten Island with Richmond County Bank Ballpark serving as the finish line. The first 2,500 fans in the ballpark will receive a drawstring bag courtesy of NY's 529 College Savings Program. The night will also be the first Scout Sleepover of the season as local scout groups are invited to sleepover on the field after the game.
You won't want to miss Sunday, June 24, as each fan in the ballpark will get a free hot dog courtesy of Sabrett. It's also Classic Car Night with classic car clubs showing off some of their rides around the ballpark. We will also be paying tribute to the hard working men and women of the Fire Department of the City of New York with FDNY Appreciation Night. The following day on Monday, June 25, we celebrate the efforts of the city's sanitation workers with DSNY Night.
Every Monday night game at the ballpark will be Music Monday celebrating milestones in music through themed music and trivia. Dates and themes include: June 25 (Backstreet Boys 25th Anniversary), July 2 (Bruce Springsteen's "Darkness on the Edge of Town" 40th Anniversary), July 9 (Wu-Tang Clan's "Enter the Wu-Tang [36 Chambers]" 25th Anniversary), July 30 (Kanye West's "808s & Heartbreak" 10th Anniversary), and Aug. 20 (The Beatles' "The White Album" 50th Anniversary).
Every Tuesday night game will pop culture-centric with TV Tuesday with themed trivia and entertainment around some of television's most popular series. Dates and themes include: June 26 (Boy Meets World 25th Anniversary), July 31 (Breaking Bad 10th Anniversary), and Aug. 21 (Sons of Anarchy 10th Anniversary).
Another favorite ballpark tradition, Military Appreciation Night, will be held on Monday, July 2, with military vehicles in front of the ballpark for fans to check out. We continue celebrating our great country with our annual Fourth of July Celebration on Wednesday, July 4. Fans will be able to view not only our spectacular fireworks show, but also fireworks from all across the New York Harbor as well.

Coupled with our Wu-Tang-centric game on Monday, July 9, is Legal Night in conjunction with local law school groups as well as the Richmond County Bar Association. Throughout the game, we will be giving away 36 Staten Island Yankees 20th season gavel mini-bats courtesy of Chandler Bats.
On four different Wednesday nights during the season, the first 500 fans will get a collectible magnet as part of our custom magnet series. Collect them all as each magnet will be unique! Dates include: July 11, Aug. 8, Aug. 15 and Aug. 29.
It's never too early to get a little spooky as we celebrate the luckiest day on the calendar with Friday the 13th. On Saturday, July 14, we pay tribute to the classic film "Dirty Dancing" in conjunction with the Bella Lisa Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and local dance groups. The night will include a dance-a-thon for charity, and the first 1,000 fans in the ballpark will get a free pizza cutter.
This summer will feature three Camp Days with early first pitch times for youth camps throughout the tri-state area. Dates and time include: Monday, July 16 (11 a.m.), Wednesday, Aug. 1 (12 p.m.) and Thursday, Aug. 9 (11 a.m.)
Halfway to Holidays is back on Friday, July 20, complete with a Staten Island Yankees beanie sponsored by IBEW to get you ready for the inevitable cold weather of winter.
The fan favorite Star Wars Night returns on Saturday, July 21, with tons of intergalactic themed fun. The night will also be Italian Heritage Night in conjunction with the local chapter of Sons of Italy. Plenty Italian inspired food will be available for purchase at concessions.
Rally your fellow defenders of the universe on Sunday, July 22, for Superhero Day. The first 1,000 kids in the ballpark (ages 12 and under) will get a free foam shield.
We celebrate our team's 20th season of baseball on Staten Island with Baseball History Night on Friday, Aug. 3. The first 1,500 fans will receive a 20th anniversary gavel mini-bat courtesy of Chandler Bats, the same company that produces bats for MLB greats such as Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Yoenis Céspedes, and others. The team will also be wearing our League of Their Own-inspired jerseys in memory of the great Gloria Elliot who passed away earlier this year.
Get your house in order and join us for Harry Potter Night on Saturday, Aug. 4, for a night filled with ballpark magic.
We're partnering with Topps and Bazooka Bubble Gum for a good old-fashioned Bubble Gum Blowing Contest at the ballpark on Friday, Aug. 10. Everyone in attendance will get a collectible Topps card pack on entry and fans will get a pack of Bazooka bubble gum on exit. The night will also be the second and final Scout Sleepover of the summer.
Suit up for Hockey Night on Monday, Aug. 20, as the 2018 Isobel Cup Champions Metropolitan Riveters of the NWHL join us at the ballpark. No Zambonis, but tons of hockey-themed fun.
Loosen up your ties and relax away from the office for a special 2 p.m. first pitch on Wednesday, Aug. 22, as part of Small Business Day, presented by The Franklin Group.
We celebrate Irish culture and history on the Island on with Irish Heritage Night on Thursday, Aug. 30.
As baseball on the Island wraps up, we help usher in the new football season with Football Kickoff Night complete with free hot dogs courtesy of Sabrett. Medieval Times will be on hand to provide some Renaissance Era entertainment before the game. And stick around for the final fireworks show of the 2018 season.
The regular season wraps up on with Fan Appreciation Day and Jewish Heritage Day on Sunday, Sept. 2, with an early 1:30 p.m. first pitch.
